3. I'm on my 3rd year homeschooling
4. What I love about homeschooling is being there to see first hand what my children are learning. It excites me as much as the kids!
5. There isn't much that I don't like about it. Some times maybe the break that I would get if they were at a school away from home, and then I wake up and thank God that I'm able to homeschool.
6. I enjoy doing craft type things and doing things for the Social Committee at the Village Chapel.
7. We have a dog whose name is Cassy.
8. My favorite color is Blue.

9.My homeschool style is Traditional. I have to know that the kids are getting what they have to have instead of wondering if they are.

10. We have a schedule that we try to stick by but there are times that it gets changed. If we had no schedule school would never get done.

5) What you hate about homeschooling: Grade designations (i.e. What grade are you in?) Having to represent learning by giving a letter grade
6) Do you have a business or interest you delve in on the side? We make and sell our own Garlic-Ginger Sauce.

9) How would you describe your homeschool style? In the past we have done a combination unit studies/traditional. This year we are more traditional with more emphasis on self-motivation.
10) Schedules - thumbs up or thumbs down? We have a schedule that we try to stick to - unless we get a "better offer"

How long home schooled: 9 years

What I love about it: Being able to share life with my kids and knowing what they are experiencing and being taught

What I hate about it: Not having enough time to do all we would like and still be able to have enough "down time", being torn between Mommy time and "teacher time"

Side business or interests: sign language interpreter, gardening, baking, nature exploration, reading, reading, reading, listening to books on tape while I walk at the Wolfteever Creek Greenway

Home school style-fairly relaxed in the past but trying very hard to have a stricter schedule this year as work seems to stretch out forever if there isn't a definite stopping time for each activity.

Schedules: thumbs up, necessary and difficult to stick to
